PAST & PRESENT: MMI has a long history. We have been selling and repairing electric motors and pumps since 1951, originally under the name of Motor Maintenance Inc. In 1975 the current owners purchased the business. Since then MMI has grown significantly. We now occupy an 11,250 sq. ft. facility on the northwest side of Fort Worth, Texas. A few years ago we shortened our name to MMI since we do much more than just motor maintenance.
Our facility includes a counter sales area and a service counter for repair drop off. Service calls are available for larger applications. We have the facilities, personnel, equipment, and inventory to handle the needs of our customers, from large businesses to residential.
EXPERIENCE & STANDARDS YOU CAN TRUST: Our 2 senior mechanics have over 85 years combined experience in electric motor and pump repair (large and small). Their experience is invaluable in maintaining our high standards. Our goal of excellence is why it is important for us to be a member of EASA (Electrical Apparatus Service Association), an international association of electric motor shops dedicated to the highest standards of service.

We offer a variety of brands including Baldor, Century, Leeson, WorldWide, Pentair, Barnes and Goulds, just to name a few. QUALITY SERVICE AND REWINDS: We are a full service shop for both electric motors & pumps, with sizes ranging up to 300 HP, 480 volts. Our goal is the highest quality workmanship in all areas of our service - from a complex motor rewind or municipal pump repair to a simple residential pool pump repair. Hipot and surge testing is used in our service process to sustain our high standards. To ensure excellence in our rewinds, we always use inverter duty copper wire along with the highest quality phase and slot insulating materials.
OTHER SERVICES: Our industrial customers sometimes need field services too. So we offer field testing, surge &hipot testing, and alignment services for larger applications.
